Deer Hunting

Primary focus is on guided trophy and management deer hunts. All of the ranches are high fenced and under intensive deer management programs. Threadgill Ranches owns its own scientific breeder pens and releases deer onto its ranches on an annual basic. Most of the hunts are handled out of the Llano Ranch where there is a hunting lodge that sleeps 10. Trophy deer hunts are priced from $3000.00 and up. These bucks score from 130 to 180 B&C. Management bucks are priced from $1250.00 to $3000.00 with B&C score up to 129. For a big mature 8 pointer the price is usually $2500.00. These hunts are typically on a 3 day hunt and we allow unlimited hogs to be taken as well.

Dove Hunting

Packaged hunts for groups of 4 to 25 are offered at the San Saba and Llano Ranches. Day hunts are being offered in Burnet County. The 3 day package hunts include lodging on the ranch. We hunt over either sunflowers and/or plowed and planted wheat fields. When hunting in San Saba you can enjoy the river during the day for fishing and swimming. Hunts are on Friday noon thru Sunday noon and start at $350.00. Day hunts in Burnet are available at $75.00/day minimum 3 hunters. We will work with smaller groups to match you up with similar groups to fill a weekend. (You will be sharing the lodge) You will be allowed to shoot a couple of hogs for camp meat during your dove hunt.

Hog Hunts

There is a very high population of feral hogs on all of our ranches. We prefer groups of 3 or more hunters. We offer a 3 day hunt for $400.00 per hunter including lodging. Hogs are unlimited. Fishing is available on the San Saba River Ranch. Additional days are $100 per day per hunter.

Exotics

Threadgill Ranch has limited exotic hunts which include Black Buck, Elk, Axis, and Fallow. Call for pricing

Fishing & Camping

This is primarily focused on the San Saba Ranch. This nearly 1200 acre ranch near San Saba has approximately 3 miles of beautiful spring fed San Saba river front. It is ideal for fishing, kayaking and canoeing. The river is full of catfish, bass, and pan fish. It is rare to see another person on the river. We are surrounded by big ranches with only private access to the river. There is a 6 bedroom/3 bath lodge nestled in giant pecan trees that sleeps approximately 13 people. Groups preferred with pricing upon request. This is a great family experience so bring the kids.
